Objectives. - Helping Ss know some vocab, use the lexical items related to life in the past and practice doing the exercises well. B. Language knowledge: - Structures: wish, used to. - Vocab: a mobile movie team,a loudspeaker,( to ) wish, an event, technological( adj), an occasion, a funeral . C. Teaching aids: T: Posters. Ss: books, pictures D. Skills : + Target skills: Reading & listening + Others: Writing & speaking E. Procedures: I. Warm up (4’) T prepares some photos about some common activites in the past and at the present. Ss group the fictures then explain. II . New lesson: 1.Activity 1: Listen and read * Set the scene(2’) - What are they talking about ? - How do you understand the title” Preserving the past” ? *.Present the dialogue(3’) - Have ss listen to the tape twice. -Ss read the D again. T corrects their pronunciation. - T notes some vocab and asks Ss to remember or learn by heart at home. * Vocabulary( 6’) 1. a mobile movie team: đội chiếu phim di động 2.a loudspeaker: loa phát thanh 3.( to ) wish: ước muốn 4. an event: sự kiện 5. technological( adj): thuộc về công nghệ 6. an occasion: dịp 7. a funeral: đám ma a. Read and answer the questions.(7’) - Ss read the D again then do the ex individually. –Ssshare the answers . - Check their answer as the class. 1.Fathers make kites for sons.
