The group gets more correct answers will be the winner. - Suggestes answers: urban sprawl, noise, traffic jams, air pollution, crime, overcrowding, high cost of living, bad weather II. New lesson: 1. Listening: * Activity 2: Listen and write the missing word in each gap - Ss run through sentences, pay attention on guessing the word in each gap. - Listen and find the missing words. - Listen again and check. The increase in vehicles on the roads and construction sites make the city noisy. Finally, there is water pollution. A populous city has much rubbish which is then thrown into the water. Waste from factories is also discharged directly into ponds and lakes. This has bad effects on people’s health. In short, these kinds of pollutions bring about problems to all city dwellers. III.
